Narrator/Wolf: Joe Ciresi
Joe is thrilled to make his debut with SALT and to be reprising his role after 25 years as the Narrator. Some of Joes previous roles included: Lord Farquaad in Shrek, Captain Hook in Peter Pan ,Tiny Tim in Mrs. Cratchit’s Wild Christmas Binge ,Moonface in Anything Goes, Ken in Neil Simons Rumors, Harold Hill in the Music Man, Benny Van Buren in Damn Yankees, Huckebee in the Fantasticks at the Kimmel Center, Father Mark in Tony and Tina's Wedding and Mr. Bumble in Oliver. When Joe is not performing he can be seen at the Kimmel Center performing the role of Director of Advertising Sales. Joe also serves as the Spring-ford Area School District. He wants to thank all those involved in this production and his family. I wish!
Cinderella: Lauren LeBlanc
Lauren is thrilled to be making her SALT debut in one of her bucket list shows! Favorite performances include The Sound of Music (Maria), Legally Blonde (Paulette), Urinetown (Hope), and W;t (Sue Monahan). Lauren studied voice and acting on scholarship at Texas State University, received her Masters in Teaching from the University of Louisville, and is a proud Actors Equity Membership Candidate. Jack: Stephen Fisher
Stephen is excited to be making his SALT Performing Arts debut in the iconic role of Jack! Stephen was recently seen in The Secret Garden (Dickon) and Titanic the Musical (Charles Clarke) at Barley Sheaf Players. Stephen is thankful for all of his friends and family for supporting him.
Katrya Oransky-Petyk: Jack's Mother
Katrya is deliriously happy to be performing at SALT again. How lucky to have found a gem so close to home that has become so close to her heart! Not a first timer with a Sondheim show, Katrya played the ever-witty Charlotte in “A Little Night Music” at Kalliope Stage in Cleveland. Favorite line from that particular show or any show ever still is: “We’re our own zoo.” Katrya has performed professionally in regional theaters since... she’s not saying. Other favorite roles? Eva Peron in “Evita” at Berea Summer Theatre and Rizzo in “Grease” at Bucks County Playhouse.
The Baker: Scott Minor
Scott is playing the role The Baker in his second production at SALT. He played the roles of Von Hussler, Policeman and Chorus in our May production of Mary Poppins and is also teaching acting in SALT's Stagelight program. He has performed previously at the Steelriver Playhouse as Rooster Hannigan in "Annie", Renfield in "Dracula", and Fred Gailey in "A Miracle on 34th Street" along side our Asst. Director Elizabeth who played Doris. Scott has a BFA in Musical Theatre from The University of the Arts. He currently lives in Pottstown with his wife Becky and their three boys.
Baker’s Wife: Megan Falasco
Megan is ecstatic to be returning to the SALT stage and tackling one of her favorite roles. Earlier this year, she had the pleasure of making her SALT debut as Mrs. Corry in Mary Poppins. Select roles include: Shelly (Evil Dead, the Musical), Georgia Hendricks (Curtains), Dido (Dido & Aeneas), and Penny (Dr. Horrible’s…Blog). Rapunzel/Cinderella’s Stepmother: Libby Malone
Coming from a musical family, it was only natural for Libby to have a passion for music. She graduated with a Vocal Performance bachelor's degree from North Central University in 2002 where musical theater took that passion to a new level. Some of her favorite stage works include the role of the Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jo March in Little Women, performing a Summer season with the Emmerich Theater Production Co. in North Carolina, and most recently playing Mary in SALT's production of Mary Poppins. Being in Into the Woods, Libby's favorite musical, is sure to be one to add to the list of favorites!
Florinda: Alicia Alaimo
Alicia is very happy to be rejoining her SALT family on this journey in the woods! She is a recent graduate from West Chester University of Pennsylvania where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Musical Theatre with a Dance Minor. Since graduation, Alicia has worked at Sesame Place as a costumed character and on the big budget movie The 5th Wave in Atlanta, GA as well as performing in community theatre. Special thanks goes out to her family and friends who have always supported her. Without them, she would not be where she is today.
Little Red Ridinghood: Joy Ann Wolfe
Joy Ann is an eleven-year-old sixth grader at Holy Cross Regional School. She's thrilled to be playing Little Red in her debut at SALT alongside a truly awe-inspiring, talented and fun cast and crew. Previous roles include Pinocchio in Pinocchio, Annie in Annie, and Mary Lennox in Secret Garden. She enjoys reading, taking trips to the Philippines, and torturing her little brother. She thanks Lauren McComas for this wonderful opportunity. She's also grateful of her family and friends for their love and support. Most of all, she gives thanks and praise to God for His awesome gift of music.
Witch: Catherine Ogden
Catherine is thrilled to join this wonderful ensemble and to return to the SALT stage, last seen in Miracle on 34th Street and Showstoppers. After graduating college she enjoyed an over ten year career in professional theater. Some favorite productions include: National tour -- Sound of Music(Maria); Regional & Summer Stock -- Nunsense, The Taffettas, Carousel(Julie), Wonderful Town(Eileen), Oliver(Nancy), Ragtime(Mother), & Next to Normal(Diana); Broadway -- Street Corner Symphony(Sukki). Catherine is ever thankful for her loving husband and 2 boys.
Cinderella’s Mother/Granny/Giant: Alicia Huppman
Alicia is thrilled to be part of Into the Woods. She last appeared in her dream role as Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd at Footlighters last fall, and has appeared at Barleysheaf, Steel River, Hedgerow and other area theaters in shows such as Nunsense (three times!), The Great American Trailer Park Musical (Lin), Side By Side By Sondheim, and also performs with the 49ers Chorus of Chester County. Rapunzel’s Prince: Troy Cooper
Troy Cooper is honored to be part of this gifted cast. A special thanks to my mom and dad for their constant love and support. To Lauren for the enormous amount of trust she places in me daily,but most of all for being so generous with the gift of friendship. To Chris who is supportive and proud, but convinced that I have had more of a relationship with the trees in this forest than him recently. You sir make me smile more than you know. To the many volunteers and fellow artists that have reached out to help make my crazy set designs become a reality; there will always be a debt of gratitude. Cinderella’s Prince: Mitch King
After coming out of a five year retirement from theater, Mitch is on his first show at SALT. Since his comeback, he has played the wonderful roles of Frederick Barrett in Titanic the Musical and Archibald Craven in The Secret Garden. He has done shows such as Les Miserables, playing the fierce student leader Enjolras. Also, Mitch has played the loving Anthony in the dark musical of Sweeney Todd. Mitch attended Valley Forge Military Academy and had opportunities to perform solos in both Carnegie Hall and the Kimmel Center. He is excited for his debut at SALT and hopes many enjoy him being here as well.
Steward: Mike Styer
Mike Styer (Steward) is thrilled to make his SALT debut! Favorite credits include The Wizard of Oz at The Fulton Theatre (ensemble), Hairspray at Steel River Playhouse/Genesius Theatre (Fender/Sketch), and The Sound of Music at SRP (Rolf). In 2014, Mike released his single "Set Us Free (The Night)" internationally. In addition to theatrical and musical endeavors, Mike has a passion for photography and runs Mike Styer Photography, specializing in actor headshots. Snow White: Emily Reitz
Emily is thrilled to be making her debut on the SALT stage! Emily, a 10th grader at OJR High School, appeared in the 2015 production of Little Shop of Horrors (Ensemble), and in the 2010 production of Joseph, and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat (Children’s Choir). Last fall, Emily made her community theater debut in The Miracle Worker (Annie’s Student) at Steel River Playhouse and will return to the SRP stage this fall in White Christmas (Ensemble). In addition to being active in school choral groups, including the 7Ups, Emily is a vocal student of Julie Eurillo. Emily would like to thank her mom and dad, siblings, family and friends for their love and support.
Kendall Place: Sleeping Beauty
A senior at Boyertown, Kendall is excited to participate in her first show at SALT. Previously, she has played Lady Larken in Once Upon A Mattress and an ensemble member in Jekyll and Hyde, both through the Boyertown school district, and Kelsey in High School Musical Jr. at Steel River Playhouse. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, and playing with her dogs. She feels so blessed to be part of such a fantastic cast and would like to thank everyone involved for giving her such an amazing opportunity.
