Step 1
Step 2
Submit an AUDITION FORM prior to auditions.
Submit a video audition (details below).
Please note: If you submitted an Audition Form and video to audition for this show prior to the Pandemic, we ask that you do it again now. A lot has changed in a year...your answers might be different on the form now, and if you're a kid, no doubt you've grown and changed physically and vocally. If you are an adult, you can just re-send the video you recorded last year if you'd like. If you're a kid, we need you to re-record and send a current video. And both adults and kids should fill out the form again. Thank you so much!
COVID PRECAUTIONS: Everyone will be required to wear masks throughout the rehearsal process. The cast will wear clear masks for performances, which SALT will provide. SALT will continue to follow all CDC guidelines on sanitizing the space. The audience will be sold at whatever capacity we are permitted at the time and spaced apart accordingly, also wearing masks. Live streaming tickets will also be sold.
Audition Date
Children (ages 6-14) & Adults (ages 15+) are to submit an audition video by February 19, 2021. Callbacks will take place for both child and adult roles by invitation only on February 26. The read-through will be on March 1.

Audition Format
For children (ages 6-14): Submit a video to by February 19 with your name and "Annie Audition" in the subject of the email. The video must contain you giving a 30 second intro telling us about yourself, as well as your singing choices with accompaniment.
If you are wanting to be considered for the role of "Annie", you must sing both Tomorrow and Maybe. For Tomorrow, start from halfway through the song at "when I'm stuck with a day that's grey" and sing through to the end; you must be able to easily belt this song to be considered for the role of "Annie". For Maybe, sing from the beginning through "their one mistake was giving up me". We want Maybe to sound sweet and vulnerable, NOT a belt-your-guts-out tone like Tomorrow. Please note that anyone who submits for the role of "Annie" will ALSO automatically be considered for all other Orphan roles. You do not need to also sing the Orphan-only songs listed below in your video.
If you are wanting to be considered for any of the Orphans other than "Annie", as well as the Ensemble, you must sing both It's the Hard Knock Life from the beginning through to "from the crying you would think this place would sink, ohhhhh" and You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile from where "Duffy" starts singing "Hey, hobo man, hey, Dapper Dan" through to the end.
For adults (ages 15+): Submit a video to by February 19 with your name and "Annie Audition" in the subject of the email. The video must contain you giving a 30 second intro telling us about yourself, as well as your singing choices with accompaniment. You may choose two songs (no more than 32 measure cuts each). Either or both song selections CAN be from the show.
Photo/ Video Release Waiver
The process of this production will be filmed as a Documentary. By submitting an audition, you are agreeing to be filmed, photographed, and seen within all versions and distribution of the final edit. All cast and crew will be required to sign our photo/video release waiver.
