Alicia is super excited to be rejoining her SALT family under the sea! She is a recent graduate from West Chester University where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Musical Theatre with a Dance Minor. Since graduation, Alicia has worked at Sesame Place as a costumed character and on the big budget movie The 5th Wave in Atlanta, GA, as well as performing in community theatre. Special thanks goes out to her family and friends who have always supported her. Without them, she would not be where she is today.
James Barksdale (Flotsum)
James is excited to make his debut at SALT. Some previous roles have been Donkey (Shrek),Voice of Audrey ll (Little Shop of Horror), Rum Tum Tugger (Cats), Richie (A Chorus Line) and most recently Frank-n-Furter (Rocky Horror). He is grateful for the new friends and additional theatre family, and looks forward to many more productions with SALT.
Evri Bifsha (Allana, Princess, Sea Creature)
Evri is thrilled to be performing with SALT for the first time. Prior to The Little Mermaid, she performed as Belle in Beauty & the Beast, as well as in several dance recitals and choir shows. It has been Evri’s dream to be an actress since she lived in Greece until age 10. She enjoys working with this amazing cast and brilliant director, and would like to thank Lauren McComas as well as her parents for putting so much time into this wonderful show.
Drew Boardman (Grimsby, Chef Louis, Sailor, Sea Creature)
Drew is thrilled to be returning to the SALT stage in one of his favorite shows, The Little Mermaid. He was last seen with SALT in Christmas Spectacular. Some of his other stage credits include Hairspray (Corny Collins), RENT (Tom Collins), Carrie: the Musical (Tommy Ross), Sugar (Joe) and Beauty and the Beast (Beast). He would like to thank Lauren, Troy and the rest of the cast and crew for such an amazing opportunity and awesome experience.
Hannah Cohen (Jetsum)
Hannah is very excited to perform in her first show at SALT Performing Arts. She is a freshman at the Center for Performing and Fine Arts in West Chester, where she has done shows includingA Comedy of Errors (Adrianna), and Fiddler on the Roof (Shprintze). Hannah would like to give a big thank you to Lauren McComas for this opportunity to be a part of the wonderful SALT family.
Brad DeLeone (Prince Eric)
Brad is thrilled to fulfill his dream of playing a Disney prince in is his first production at SALT. Theatre credits include: Footloose (Ren McCormack), Snyder v. Phelps (Lance Cpl. Matthew Snyder), The World Goes Round (Featured Performer), You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Schroeder), The Music Man (Barbershop Quartet), and Guys & Dolls (Nicely-Nicely Johnson). Brad will be graduating from Drexel University in June with degrees in Graphic Design, Marketing, and Art History.
Chelsea Delgado (Ariel)
Chelsea is beyond excited to be making her debut at SALT Performing Arts and to be playing her dream role as Ariel. She is a recent graduate of Rider University with a Bachelor’s of Music degree in Musical Theatre. Some of her favorite roles include Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street, Laurey in Oklahoma!, and Peter Pan in Peter Pan. She is living a life “Beyond Her Wildest Dreams!”
Caleb is excited to be performing in his 6th show with SALT, others including Christmas Spectacular, Mary Poppins, SHOWSTOPPERS, Miracle on 34th Street, and A Grand Night for Singing. He has recently portrayed the role of Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: A New Musical Hope at Bootless Stageworks. Coming up, he can be seen in RENT at Playcrafters of Skippack. He will be stepping into role of choreographer for the first time this summer when Bootless reboots Musical of the Living Dead. Outside of theatre, Caleb is Operations Supervisor at a catering company and a licensed Real Estate Agent. He thanks this amazing cast and crew for their talents, along with his future husband, Todd, for always being his biggest supporter!
Emily Enters (Arista, Princess, Sea Creature)
After a 2 year performing hiatus, Emily is delighted to make her re-debut and SALT debut in The Little Mermaid! Emily received her B.A. in Acting from Emerson College and her M.Ed. from Merrimack College. She is a full-time Admission Counselor at Ursinus College (Go Bears!) and loves spending time singing in the shower, binge watching TV shows with her cat, Sansa, and keeping her SnapStreaks alive. Much love to JB, Mama, Daddy, and Matt!
Stephen Fisher (Windward, Sailor, Chef, Sea Creature)
Stephen is excited to be back on the SALT stage! He was recently seen at SALT as Jack in Into the Woods. Stephen's favorite credits include Mark (RENT), Dickon (The Secret Garden), Captain of the Guard/ Ensemble (Shrek the Musical), and Charles Clarke (Titanic the Musical). Stephen would like to Lauren and the production staff for this opportunity and all his friends and family for their support.
Sara Helmers (Adella, Princess, Gull, Sea Creature)
Sara is a senior at Owen J. Roberts High School. She has been involved in musical theatre since a young age, shows including Little Shop of Horrors (Chiffon), Seussical (Sour Kangaroo), and 42nd Street (Anytime Annie). Sara also participates in her school’s 7up Show Choir and Acapella group. Sara plans on attending Temple University. Sara is thrilled to be performing in her first show with SALT, and would like to thank the cast and production staff.
Kelsey Hendler (Maid, Sea Creature)
Kelsey is thrilled to be in her very first production at SALT. Kelsey is a 2015 graduate of Penn State University and holds a degree in Music Education. She currently teaches choir at Pottsgrove High School. Musical theatre has been a passion of Kelsey's from a young age and she feels blessed to be able to keep it in her life. Many thanks to her family, friends and teachers who have all supported her endlessly (especially mom and dad)!
Grant Holcomb (Pilot, Chef, Sea Creature)
After closing the year with his first appearance at SALT in Christmas Spectacular, Grant is thrilled to be returning for The Little Mermaid. Grant previously played the part of Monsieur D'Arque in Beauty and the Beast and Lyle in Footloose, as well as performing in local productions of The Secret Garden and Nice Work If You Can Get It. He has also appeared in theatrical productions of Brigadoon and High School Musical.
Clinton Jackmon (Sebastian)
Clinton is a Malvern native and graduate of West Chester University and McAllister Institute of Mortuary Science. Clinton has appeared in more than 500 theatrical productions, documentaries, and promos for several local and national organizations. He is currently President of Jackmon Funeral Home and Trinity Transportation. He has appeared in productions with such notables as Loretta Divine and Mary Wilson. He also had the pleasure of working with Mark Medoff, author of Children of a Lessor God. He is a Worship Leader at Ebenezer Baptist Church of Downingtown and The River of Life Church in Wilmington.
Julia Kennedy (Atina, Princess, Gull, Sea Creature)
Julia has been dancing at Turning Pointe Dance Centre for ten years. This is her second performance in a SALT production. She was Clara and a vocalist in 2015’s Christmas Spectacular. She has also performed with Calvary Fellowship Church in four musicals. Julia’s passion is dance and she is captain of the Great Valley Dance Club. Painting, acting, singing, and writing are other activities that Julia enjoys. Next fall she plans to major in dance and education and work for Disney World.
Mitch King (Triton)
After coming out of a five year retirement from theatre, Mitch is on his third show at SALT after just playing the most handsome Prince Charming in Into the Woods, as well as in our most recent Christmas Spectacular. Since his comeback, he has also played the wonderful roles of Frederick Barrett in Titanic the Musical and Archibald Craven in The Secret Garden. He has done shows such as Les Miserables, playing the fierce student leader Enjolras. Also, Mitch has played the loving Anthony in the dark musical of Sweeney Todd. Mitch attended Valley Forge Military Academy and had opportunities to perform solos in both Carnegie Hall and the Kimmel Center. He is thrilled to be amongst his SALT family for this one!
Kurt A. Kunsch (Scuttle)
Kurt is excited to be back on stage! He appeared at Forge Theatre in Phoenixville in the role of Big Josh in Big the Musical. He holds a BA in Theatre from Muhlenberg College and performs professionally as a vocalist and magician. Kurt lives in Chester County with his wife Kelly and three children Addison, Chloe and Daxon. Kurt dedicates his performance to his family and late mother Jane.
Andrew Dean Laino (Leeward/ Ensemble)
Andrew is thrilled to be back on the SALTy stage in his favorite Disney movie! Previous roles include C-3PO (Star Wars: A New Musical Hope), Puck (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), and Rock ‘n Roller Coaster (Disney’s Hollywood Studios). Thank you so much to Lauren, Daniel, Melody, and the entire cast and crew for making this process so wonderful. Special thanks to Mom, Dad, Tripp, Gig, Emily, and Matt. Rebecca is a current titleholder in the Miss America Organization and raises awareness for her platform, Breaking the Silence Surrounding Mental Illness. She is an internationally published writer as well as a 2015 New York Fashion Week Model. Rebecca has a passion for singing and once had the opportunity to sing with the rock band Train at the Mann Music Center to an audience of 14,000 people, but she still gets nervous before every performance!
Zoe Pratt (Maid, Gull, Sea Creature)
Zoe is thrilled to be making her SALT debut! She is a sophomore atConestoga High School and recently appeared as Mimi in their spring production of Guys and Dolls. Favorite past roles include Tranio in Taming of the Shrew, Mina Grant in Dracula, and Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. She would like to give a special thanks to her family and friends for their constant support (and numerous rides to and from rehearsal).
Emily Reitz (Maid, Sea Creature)
Emily is a 10th grader at OJR High School where she is in school music programs and track. In February, Emily served as the EmCee for West Vincent’s Got Talent Show. Emily has appeared in White Christmas (Ensemble) at Steel River Playhouse, Into the Woods (Show White) at SALT, and The Miracle Worker (Annie’s Student) at SRP. Emily thanks her family and friends for their support, and Lauren McComas for another opportunity at SALT.
Olivia Reitz (Understudy Flounder)
Olivia is so excited to be making her debut at SALT! Previously, Olivia performed at Steel River Playhouse in White Christmas (Susan Waverly) in 2015 and The Sound of Music (Gretl) in 2014. Olivia is a 5th grader at North Coventry Elementary, where she is part of the chorus, OJR District Chorus, and Chorus Fest. Olivia thanks her family and friends for their support and Lauren McComas for the opportunity to go under the sea!
Renée Schulz (Ursula)
Renée has been an actor, singer, dancer, director and choreographer for local/ regional theatre for more than 25 years. Favorite musical roles include Kate (Kiss Me Kate), Lucy (Jekyll and Hyde), Baker’s Wife (Into the Woods), Eve (Children of Eden), and Emma (Tell Me on a Sunday). She is currently the Alto Section Leader/Soloist at St. Paul’s in Ardmore. Renee is thrilled to make her SALT debut playing one of Disney’s most notorious villains.
Lauren Starling (Maid, Sea Creature)
Lauren is excited to be returning for her second production at SALT. She just finished up with a local production of Jesus Christ Super Star in March and prior to that, played Ms. Winthrop in The Secret Garden. Somewhere in her youth or childhood she performed in musicals such as Annie, Oklahoma, Carmen and two different productions of Bye Bye Birdie. Lauren counts herself as a fortunate soul to be sharing the stage with such truly phenomenal talent.
Jay Stewart (Sailor, Chef, Sea Creature)
Jay is thrilled to be making his SALT debut. He has loved every minute of his time with this cast and crew, and desires to do many more shows here in the future. Jay is pursuing a professional acting career in the Philadelphia region, currently taking acting classes at The Walnut Street Theatre.
Joy Ann Wolfe (Flounder)
Joy is thrilled to be back at SALT. She is 11 years old and goes to Holy Cross Catholic School. She loves reading (39 Clues and Lunar Chronicles are favorites), making “squishies”, and hanging with her brother, Ronnie, and her friends. Favorite roles are Annie (Annie), Mary Lennox (Secret Garden), and Little Red (Into The Woods). She thanks her family, especially her mom and dad, for always supporting and helping her along the way. Most of all, she thanks God for His generosity and love.
