Alicia is very excited to be joining the SALT Performing Arts family in their production of Mary Poppins, one of her favorite childhood classics. She is a recent graduate from West Chester University of Pennsylvania where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Musical Theatre with a Dance Minor. Since graduation, Alicia has worked at Sesame Place as a costumed character and on the big budget movie The 5th Wave in Atlanta, GA, as well as performing in community theatre. Special thanks goes out to her family and friends who have always supported her. Without them, she would not be where she is today.
During high school and college, Nancy participated in many musical theatre productions, mostly in the pit orchestra. In college, she was the musical director for Little Mary Sunshine. More recently she participated in productions at her church and was the musical director for Miracle on 34th Street at SALT. Nancy teaches music at StagelightPlus, the children’s program at SALT. Nancy is married to Raymond and has two children, Peter and Katie, who are both in college.
Back for her 4th performance with SALT, Lindsay is ready to 'Step-in-Time' for Mary Poppins! Training in dance since she could barely walk at schools such as Rock School West and WBCDA, she is so grateful to use her talents in such an exciting show! Lindsay would like to thank all her amazing cast mates for being so SUPER and her wonderfully supportive family and friends. Special thanks go to her husband for always encouraging her to pursue her passions and to Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior for the gift of dance and theatre!
John is performing with SALT Performing Arts for the first time. A graduate of West Chester and Immaculata Universities, John currently resides in Phoenixville and enjoys membership in his church choir. He also enjoys swing dancing, playing obscure or unusual board games, and having a good cup of tea. Having a lifelong love of the theatre and the theatrical, John is proud to be a part of SALT's production of Mary Poppins.
Dave has enjoyed singing since the age of 5 when he sang his first solo in his hometown CT church. In middle school, Dave was chosen to sing at the Academy of Music performing with the Mendelssohn Club singing Handel's Messiah. A Downingtown High School graduate, Dave performed in Once Upon a Mattress and played Curly in Oklahoma. Since High School, Dave continued to sing and perform in countless church musicals in the Downingtown area and in Rockford MI. Dave has three children and is married to his wife Pam. He enjoys hunting, softball and volleyball.
Riley is pleased to be a part of this Mary Poppins ensemble. An eighth grader at Peirce Middle school and a member of their drama club, he has played a Wickersham brother in Seussical, Scuttle in Little Mermaid and Annie's father in Oklahoma! He is pleased to perform in a professional theatre company for the first time with SALT.
Cooper is pleased to be a member of the Mary Poppins cast. He is a fourth grader at Mary C. Howse Elementary School where he was first introduced to participating in theatre. He also loves studying Taekwondo and playing basketball. Cooper is grateful to the director Lauren McComas for this opportunity to be a part of SALT.
Caleb is a graduate of West Chester University, currently pursuing a career in Real Estate Sales. He was most recently seen singing and dancing in SHOWSTOPPERS. His previous performance history includes playing Bert Barry in 42nd Street, Mr. Brownlow in Oliver, and Marvin Shellhammer in Miracle on 34th Street, as well as dancing in A Grand Night for Singing. He spent many years in high school and college choirs, like the Brandywine Singers, and dancing for the West Chester University Dance Company, which led him to performances in Poland and England.
Megan is more than excited for her SALT debut! Favorite roles include: Shelly (Evil Dead, The Musical), Trudy (Musical of the Living Dead), Georgia (Curtains), Dido (Dido & Aeneas), Penny (Dr. Horrible’s…Blog), and Little Stone (Eurydice). Megan would like to offer a special thanks to her family, friends, and fiancé, who continue to put up with her constant impromptu performances.
Rebecca is thrilled to participate in her 4th show here at SALT Performing Arts. Her previous work has included SHOWSTOPPERS, Miracle On 34th Street, It's A Grand Night For Singing, Cabaret, The Pajama Game, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and As You Like It. She thanks God for her gifts, her husband and mother for their love and support, and her son for teaching her something new every day.
With Mary Poppins, Juston is experiencing his debut role in theatre. He comes with many years of business and leadership experience and looks forward to accomplishing a milestone on his bucket list by being a part of this performance. Juston enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 boys along with competing in endurance sports.
Srinath is very happy to be a part of Mary Poppins. He is 12 years old, in 7th grade, and he goes to school in Downingtown. His favorite subjects are Art and Math. His previous experiences in musicals are when he was in the ensemble for his school in High School Musical and Beauty and the Beast.
Elle is a homeschooled 3rd grader who has performed in several theatres in the Lancaster, PA area. She is thrilled to be a part of this show, her first at SALT! In addition to theatre, Elle’s interests include basketball, stuffed animals and lollipops (otherwise known as a spoonful of sugar!). She is grateful to the cast and crew of SALT and desires to honor God with this opportunity.
Jason is jazzed to be embarking on his 2nd production with SALT, where he was recently seen performing in SHOWSTOPPERS. He’s most excited to lace up tap shoes for the first time in his life. Jason has been leading churches in Worship for the past 8 years. When not at rehearsal or church, you can find him doing CrossFit or spending time with his beautiful wife and 3 small children.
Andrew is thrilled to be making his SALT debut with this whirlwind production of Mary Poppins. Favorite past roles include A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Puck), Machinal (Various Roles), Peter and the Starcatcher (Tubby Teddy/Teacher the Mermaid) and Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Rock n’ Roller Coaster). Libby is extremely excited to be portraying Mary Poppins with such a great cast. After spending much of her high school years focused on music, Libby graduated with a Vocal Performance bachelor's degree from North Central University in 2002 and some of her previous stage work includes the role of the Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jo March in Little Women, and performing a Summer season with the Emmerich Theater Production Co. in North Carolina. This, Libby's third production with SALT, is sure to be supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Rachel is so excited for her debut with SALT! She has been dancing since the age of 4, and has been in many drama performances throughout her high school career. After graduating, Rachel received her Cosmetology license and has been pursuing a freelance career in Makeup Artistry. When she is not doing makeup, you can find her helping Lauren out with behind-the-scenes theatre work and running her two busy children to dance and baseball. She gives a special shout out to her love Kyle for always being supportive and allowing Rachel to live her dreams!
Melissa is enjoying her first appearance on the SALT stage. A native of Florida, she has a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Theatre and has been performing for 25 years. Melissa currently serves as a Worship Vocalist. Although she has performed in countless productions, her favorite role is that of Wife and Mother! Melissa wishes to thank Guy, her loving husband of 19 years, and her amazing children, Matthew and Hannah.
This is Scott's first production with SALT, and he’s excited to plug in to this new endeavor to produce excellent family theatre in Chester Springs. He is the music and drama teacher at Coventry Christian Schools in Pottstown and recently directed Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors with the middle and high school. He has a BFA in Musical Theatre from The University of the Arts. Recent credits include Rooster in Annie, Renfield, in Dracula, and Fred Gailey in Miracle on 34th Street. All his recent shows were performed with the Steel River Playhouse in Pottstown, where he resides with his wife Becky, a novelist and visual artist, and three boys ages 8, 10, + 15. Scott took the taps off his dance shoes nearly 20 years ago and is looking forward to acting like the ducky shincracker he once was.
Charleston has been entertaining local theatre audiences for the past 3 years. Most recently portraying Marta Von Trapp in The Sound of Music at Steel River Playhouse. Charleston is so delighted to be part of the SALT Performing Arts amazing family and among such incredible talent! Her role as Jane Banks is proving to be her most favorite yet!
Katrya is thrilled to be joining the SALT family. Her professional experience has taken her from Riverfront and City Line Dinner Theatres and the Bucks County Playhouse in the Delaware Valley to productions in New York, Boston and Cleveland, Ohio. Roles Katrya has played a range of roles including Mrs. Molloy in Hello Dolly, Julie in Carousel, Rizzo in Grease, Charlotte in A Little Night Music, and Eva Peron in Evita. She wants to dedicate this performance to her longtime friend, mentor and collaborator - the late Kalliope Theatre co-founder and director, Paul Gurgol.
Ron's love for singing started at an early age. He was involved in choirs, quartets, small ensembles in church, even some experience with a local Christian radio station, and more recently musical dramas. He considers it a great honor to be included in Mary Poppins with a fabulous director, great support staff, and a wonderful crew of actors.
Carol is a graduate of the Overbrook School for the Blind in Philadelphia, as well as the University of the Arts. She earned a BA in piano with a minor in voice, as well as a BA in music therapy from Combs College of Music. Having taught for many years, she is now retired and concentrates on music ministry and performance. She received her teacher training certification from West Chester University.
Kelly is thrilled to be a part of the Mary Poppins ensemble! Some of her past shows include How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (Miss Krumholtz), The Sound of Music (Sister Bertha), and Footloose (Ensemble). She would like to thank her husband, Kevin, for all of his love and support, and Squints, for bringing the tomatoes. Psalm 27: 14.
Making his theatre debut, Cujo, is so excited to take the stage. Don't let the name scare you though, Cujo is a total love bug and will smother you with kisses if you let him. When not performing he loves snacking on treats and taking long naps. Cujo would like to thank the whole cast for making him feel so at home in the theatre and his fur-mommy, Fay, for letting him strut his paws in the lime-light!
Lauren began her theatre career in New Jersey at age 5. She has been on the stage for over 100 different performances in theatres up and down the East Coast, as well as in California and Indiana. She received her BA in Theatre after studying at Messiah College, Temple University, and the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, Ireland. You can now occasionally spot her as a guest host on QVC. SALT is her childhood dream-come-true. Lauren is thrilled to be on this journey with her amazing husband and 2 small children. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
Kathy's first experience on the stage was in junior high, playing Lucy in the musical Snoopy. She continued her love of singing and being on the stage in high school musicals, community theatres and eventually earned a degree in Music Education as a voice major. Throughout that time, Kathy sang in a Broadway style group with a mission to bring fun and joy to the community, often entertaining at nursing homes and veterans centers. Kathy taught music in the public schools for some years before starting her family. Now, she is busy teaching music part time so she can devote most of her time to guiding her own family of young musicians, side by side with her husband Dave, in their areas of passion. Daniel, Joshua and Abby are developing musicians and are carrying on the tradition of giving to others with the talents God has so graciously given them.
Melody is happy to be back at SALT Performing Arts, having most recently choreographed and performed in their production of SHOWSTOPPERS. A graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University, Melody holds her BA in Dance, and has performed and choreographed at many local and regional theatres. Choreographic highlights include: A Grand Night For Singing, The Masked Lie, and Dancing: The Many Moods of Musicals. “If you have any talent, that’s God’s gift to you.
