Performances & Rehearsals

The Read Through will take place on the evening of July 19 and rehearsals continue mostly on Sundays, Mondays, & Wednesday evenings. A detailed list of our rehearsal/production schedule can be found here. Please be sure to list all your personal schedule conflicts on your audition form. Conflicts with tech and performances are not accepted.

Audition Format

Please prepare: Two song selections in the style of the show and/or from the show. 32 measures each. If you are auditioning for a specific role, please have at least one of your song selections be a song your character sings in the show (Oliver should sing a section of Where is Love, Nancy should sing the end of As Long As He Needs Me, Dodger should sing a section of Consider Yourself, and Fagan can do selections from either/both his songs). Please have your sheet music in a binder with cuts clearly marked for our live accompanist.

Additionally, we would love to hear you introduce yourself with a fun fact or two about you in a cockney accent. Just have fun & try your best! :)

Character Descriptions

This is a community theatre production. All cast members are unpaid and perform on a volunteer-basis for the love of it. All roles are open, and SALT encourages all performers to submit for any role regardless of type, gender, ability, race, ethnicity, sexuality, neurodiversity, and similarity to the source material or original Broadway cast.

We are seeking to cast the following roles:
